We've still got two and a half days before the second half of the year starts, but looking at the list of the upcoming releases in the next couple days, I'm confident I'm ready to put out these nominees. In honor of Obamacare (which is honestly one of the worst things I've ever heard of) passing, I leave you with the nominees. I tried to do justice to the categories as much as I could, but these days who really knows whether its an Album, EP, Mixtape, Underground, Mainstream, Washed Up, Indie...

Everything Del does Is dope to be honest.

And LFTU was pretty bad. 4Eva In A Day was better.

edit: Oh we're meant to vote. Awkard when you haven't even listened to half of them

Obamacare is GOAT though. I mean, it shows Obama CARES. He cares about people like me and you. Very Happy

I've heard less then half of these tbh, so my votes should probably be taken with a grain of salt. You should post some links to some of these though, especially since you can't get reported here so there's no adverse effects.

TNLP

Milo Takes Baths, though tbh Preparing For Capture is really close IMO.

I'm going to skip mixtapes because I've only heard the Del ones...

Another skip...though really E-40? o_O is it legitimately good or...?

Skippp...Background Check is great though.

Sigh...also a skip. I'm just going to skip all the ones where I haven't heard at least half...

AK-47.

Throwblaps.

Probably UCLA, but I don't know if people can be legitimately surprised in their disappointed in Blu anymore, since disappointment is the precedent he's set.

Ammunition.

Hiero.

Sovereign Soul.

Erm...I'll say Blockhead.

Del's been having an excellent year.

Market & 8th.

Oh, btw, is 4NML HSPTL good IYO?

Best MC:
Killer Mike

Best Producer:

Most Disappointing:

Shit, I knew this would happen. I already caught up on some instrumental projects that deserve to be on that list. I'll edit.

Wth? Everyone is in this forum now? I guess I'll have to moderate this Forum from now on.

I'm wondering how XV's ''Popular Culture'' did not even make the list for top mixtapes of the year. IMO it's the best mixtape out in 2012 so far.
